We are seeking a creative and passionate Head Chef in Chinese Cuisine to bring new flavors and experience to our Chinese Restaurant in Hundested Denmark. As the Head Chef in Chinese Cuisine, your responsibilities will be, but not limited to, designing, and developing menus, managing kitchen operations, supervising the kitchen staff, and ensuring the food served meets our high standards.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and improve the restaurants menus to ensure dishes are delicious, innovative, and cost-effective.
- Manage and oversee the operations of the kitchen, including cooks, dishwashers, and other kitchen staff.
- Ensure the quality of all food served meets the highest standards.
- Manage inventory levels of food and supplies to ensure the kitchen has the necessary ingredients to prepare all menu items.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and ensure that all food safety regulations are followed.
- Train and develop the kitchen team, provide feedback and coaching to help them improve their skills and performance.
- Responsible for writing shopping list and buying essential supplies of the kitchen.
- Hiring and interviewing potential new employees for the kitchen staff
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Head Chef in Chinese Cuisine, knowledge of various Chinese culinary styles, is much preferred.
- Experience with working in a Chinese Restaurant in Denmark is also much preferred.
- Proficiency in ingredient selection, handling, and cooking methods.
- Experience and skills in leadership, management, and coordination of the kitchen team.
- Knowledge of and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Innovative and experimental mindset, able to develop unique and innovative Chinese dishes.
- Relevant Education in Chinese Cooking or having a Chinese Authorized Cook Certificate is much preferred.
- Speaking Chinese is Much preferred.
