Valsøytunet, Valsøyfjord, is looking for a Kitchen Manager.
We are looking for a kitchen manager who can help us keep up the reputation of quality melas prepared with local ingredients. We think you will fit in at our kitchen if you are an organized person that likes working as a team in the whole restaurant. We think it is important to help each other be better and work together to make the customer happy.
As the kitchen manager you will be responsible of keeping track of and reducing food waste, temperature control, inventory control and ordering and of course food production.
Wanted qualifications:
Full time, 37,5 hours per week.
Seasonal contract from May 1st - October 15th, 2023.
Salary according to qualifications and experience ( Norwegian tariff)

At Valsøytunet, we offer accommodation, camping and good dining experiences to our guests throughout the summer. We are a small holiday destination for families, and we have an associated climbing park within walking distance of us. Valsøytunet started in 1996 as a campsite and has since moved many houses to Valsøya which have been renovated and put into use as accommodation units and a restaurant. We have simply started with the reuse of houses. Since 1996, Valsøytunet has grown to become hotel-like business with 14 unique accommodation units, almost 50 drop-in campsites and a restaurant with space for a total of 130 dining guests.
We are a Green Key certified company, this is an international environmental certification for accommodation and hotels.

- Good English skills
