The position In this exciting new opportunity as our Senior Media Relations Manager, you will focus on providing ongoing media relations counsel and support for our affiliates, as well as protecting and promoting Novo Nordisk’s reputation by establishing world-class issues management. You will be a part of the exciting growth journey in our Region SEEMEA (Southeast Europe, Middle East & Africa) and the position will be situated in one of our three locations: Copenhagen, Istanbul, or Warsaw. Furthermore, you will Build a strong external communication strategy in collaboration with stakeholders to support commercialization strategy Provide continued assistance for obesity-related media concerns such as medical aesthetics, the body positivity movement, off-label promotion, and stigma. Establish and carry out issues management plans and train all affiliates. Create proactive media relations and public relations strategies to prepare for product introductions and raise obesity awareness through patient activation. Collaborate with affiliates to promote crucial pipeline data through press releases as well as support affiliates in using real-world evidence studies for general media communications. Offer hands-on assistance to affiliates with limited communication resources. Qualifications You have extensive experience as a seasoned communications professional in the pharmaceutical industry, where you have successfully engaged with media and senior stakeholders for many years. Your positive outlook, creativity, and strategic mindset are the driving forces behind your readiness to embark on the next chapter of your professional journey! Furthermore, you have Proven success in creating and implementing issues management plans. In-depth understanding and experience working in area of commercial medical communications. Proven results in managing complex, cross-organizational projects and excellent stakeholder management skills. Degree in communications, journalism, or business. About the department The Communications department is responsible for leading the external and internal communications for the SEEMEA Region and SEEMEA affiliates. You will report to the SEEMEA Senior Director of Communications and work very closely with the communication colleagues in affiliates, International Operations and Global, Public Affairs, as well as the commercial obesity team.
