Summary:

The team in the People Program Office is the organization’s Change enablers and we are looking to strengthen the team with a Communications Lead. As our Communications Lead, you'll manage the communication activities in our ongoing, multi-year business transformation and global SAP S4/HANA Private Cloud ERP implementation.

You'll be engaging with stakeholders on multiple levels to design, develop and execute communications across various channels. You will also be collaborating closely with the Change Management, Training & Process streams within the Business Integration team of the program as well as the Program Management Office (PMO).

You'll be reporting directly to Head of the People Program Office and be part of a diverse team of highly driven specialists. You will oversee the activities of a junior Change Communications Associate and be in charge of implementing the ongoing change and communication plan in coordination with the Local Change Lead.

You preferably will be based in Copenhagen (DE), but consideration will also be given to Eindhoven (NL) & Hasselt (BE).

What you can expect as Communications Lead:

You will be one of the key drivers of the adoption of new processes and technologies that are critical to the strategic journey of STG. These processes and technologies will be rolled out globally, which requires you to elevate the Program's credibility across multiple regions and firmly position the Program as the future of how to conduct business in our organization. In this role, you will:

  • Internalize the program’s communication strategy and plan and enrich it with your own experience.
  • Plan design and execute proactive communications plans to suit the needs of change management for each stage and rollout wave.
  • Support the Program Management Office (PMO) in their communications needs to keep team members informed and engaged with the program development.
  • Work with the Business Integration Team to create a comprehensive stakeholder communication and engagement plan in close collaboration with PMO.
  • Define and supervise the development of relevant communications products to keep target groups informed and engaged.
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of all program communications as per the Communication Plan ensuring consistency of message and approach.
  • On a continual basis, share best practices with effective communication to improve accuracy.
  • Occasional travel will be required

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):

  • 5+ years of relevant corporate communications experience.
  • Experience in project management for communications products
  • Experience in change communications best practices, theories or models
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Sound knowledge in PowerPoint, SharePoint and graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred.
  • Knowledge of video production and editing would be an advantage but not a limitation.
  • Good communication skills, in both written and spoken English
  • Analytical and creative thinking.
  • Ability to navigate in a complex matrix organization and influence others.
  • Master’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, business communications, English, or a related field.

As a lot of the work will be done with our Dutch and Spanish colleagues around the world having knowledge of one or both of these languages will a plus, but not a requirement.
