Do you want to play a key role in developing our internal and external communication? Are you an experienced strategic thinking communicator with high drive and energy? And are you a communication expert, who can advise and support our leaders, drive strategic communication projects, and change communication processes? If yes, then this opportunity might be right for you. The position We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced communication partner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the communication strategy and ensuring that the strategy is executed in alignment with our strategic business aspirations and priorities. Furthermore, you will be driving and facilitating change communication processes across the organisation to ensure business continuity. Your main responsibilities will be: Develop and execute communication strategy and plan in alignment with business aspirations and priorities Act as strategic communication advisor to the head of GRT (Senior Vice President) and senior leadership team Drive and facilitate change communication projects and processes Create and implement internal and external communication material such as presentations, content for internal and external channels, storylines etc. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent and coordinated communication You will be working closely with Global Communication aligning on communication activities to make sure that GRT communicates in accordance with the corporate communication guideline. Furthermore, you will become a member of the cross-functional Research & Early Development (R&ED) and Global Communicators Network (GCN) sharing learnings and securing coordinated communication efforts. Qualifications To be considered for this role you: Hold a Master's degree in Communications or a related field and have 4+ years of relevant experience within communications. Have strong strategic thinking with the ability to align communication efforts with organisational objectives and priorities. Ideally, you have worked with the pharma industry and are proficient in different platforms and their potential to reach our audience. Are fluent in oral and written English and have a strategic mindset, can juggle multiple tasks, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level of drive and self-motivation. You enjoy working independently but also know when to seek advice and guidance. Have deep knowledge of Office365, especially SharePoint, Teams, Yammer and PowerPoint, as well as skills with photo and video that you use to put together compelling content that is also visually appealing. About the department GRT Strategy and Operations (GRT S&O) is responsible for driving high-impact strategy projects and processes anchored with GRT Senior Leadership Team and in close collaboration with other parts of the R&ED organisation. GRT S&O is a team of 7 dedicated specialists with a high level of synergy through a variety of personal profiles and professional backgrounds, ranging from scientific at the Ph.D. level to specific business-oriented experts and ex-management consultants. We show leadership in everything we do through individual accountability, psychological safety and focus to generate high impact without compromising work-life balance and social team dynamics. As SVP Communication Partner, you will be reporting to the Director of GRT S&O (and EA to SVP of GRT) and be a part of the GRT S&O team.
