Our Strategy, Communications and Brand department is a young support function with six enthusiastic professionals who drive strategy, branding and internal and external communication for NNE. We’ve just updated our Corporate Visual Identity and refreshed our brand – now we need your help to ensure we live and breathe it in everything we do!
As our Creative Design Student Assistant, you will support the team with various tasks related to the creation and production of visual materials. Your role will be to assist the team to produce and update design outputs, implement design concepts, and maintain and lift brand consistency across various platforms. You will work closely with experienced communications and brand consultants, external graphic designers, and creative agencies.
How you might spend your days
As our Creative Design Student Assistant, you’ll be working with and evolve with our team depending on the projects we're focusing on. You'll:
We estimate around 15 workhours per week however we flexible especially during exam periods. Moreover, the work can be conducted as a hybrid to work remotely and in the office.

How you might spend your days
As our Creative Design Student Assistant, you’ll be working with and evolve with our team depending on the projects we're focusing on. You'll:
- Collaborate closely with the Communication and Brand team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the creation and production of visual materials, including digital and print designs, illustrations, short videos and layouts.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas for design projects.
- Help in the development and execution of design concepts, ensuring they align with the brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of design assets for print and digital distribution, including resizing, formatting, and optimizing files.
- Support the team in maintaining, updating and organizing the design asset library, ensuring easy access and retrieval of files.
- Assist other departments to ensure alignment with our Corporate Visual Identity
- Stay up to date with industry trends, design software, and emerging technologies to enhance design skills and knowledge.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing design project documentation.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Currently enrolled as a student in a graphic design or related program.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint design and Word templates
- Comprehensive visual design skills, with an understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.
- Basic knowledge of printing processes and file preparation for print production.
