Operation Consultant to operate and enhance application platforms designed for success

Opportunities as an Operation Consultant at BoConcept
At BoConcept, IT plays an important role in increasing the business potential and executing business strategy and plans. The business strategy also includes plans to develop the IT system landscape to the next digital level where focus is on the full customer journey and back-office processes. The IT system landscape is built on the Microsoft suite as foundation and hence the major platforms (ERP etc.) are also part of the Microsoft application platform portfolio.
As an Operation Consultant at BoConcept, you will take part in exciting, value-creating initiatives on enhancing the application platforms and how to utilize them best for the business. Your experience will add value to the operations and changes you take part in, and you will be responsible for parts of the overall solution together with your colleagues. As an Operation Consultant, you take part in the lifecycle process of applications from being put into operation and with the ongoing enhancement of the application and supporting business processes.
You will be working closely with other experienced consultants. Further, you will take part in implementing and testing changes for larger application platforms primarily involving ERP and finance systems.
Your daily work tasks will e.g. include:
• Identify needs in collaboration with the business
• Describe and specify functionalities.
• Test and launch solutions.
• Conduct internal training sessions and assist in putting solutions into operation.
• Maintaining vendor management towards critical product and/or support partners.

To succeed in the role of Operation Consultant, it is crucial that you work in a structured way, possess a good overview of tasks and are detail oriented. It is also important that you are open-minded and know how to translate business needs into application solutions. It is essential that you want to take responsibility and are committed to the projects/initiatives you take part in. You demonstrate strong communication skills and can interact at all levels of the organisation. It is also natural for you to connect with other people and create good working relationships.
As we work are an international business, you must be able to speak and write English at negotiation level.
Ideally, you have several years of experience with application operation on ERP systems and working with customer-oriented digital solutions. You want to develop yourself professionally and personally.
Furthermore, we imagine that you have:
• More than 2 years of experience with ERP - it can be from a consultancy or internally in a company – preferably in an international environment.
• A strong business and IT background with thorough knowledge of various ERP systems and processes that support retail companies.
• Worked as an IT professional and supported on the implementation of ERP, production or finance systems.
• Competencies within coordination and testing of ERP systems and functionalities.
