immunAware develops and produce research reagents that can be used to monitor antigen-specific T cells. Our unique reagents are being used by universities and pharma world-wide as an essential part of monitoring T cells, which play a major role in protecting us against infectious diseases and cancer.
immunAware is a young company which have expanded its activities since its establishment in late 2017. We have recently moved all our operations to DTU Science Park in Hørsholm. DTU science park is located in a green area and is easily reached from Copenhagen by car or bus; our working environment is open and. We are aware that basic research has led to our successful product portfolio, and we therefore appreciate new ideas with a startup mindset.
The Position
Your main responsibility will be to manage our purification process of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) proteins. The position requires that you can work independently, enjoy hands-on and can operate, maintain, plan, problem-solve, develop, improve and document the protein purification processes. It also requires that you can lead, manage and work alongside a small team of technicians devoted to this function. It is important that you can communicate and discuss the results with fellow scientists.

Qualifications
Your main qualifications are:
- MSc or PhD in bioprocess engineering, protein chemistry or other relevant education.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of the methodologies of protein purification.
- Hands-on experience with modern protein purification.
- Experience with ÄKTA chromatography and Unicorn would an advantage.
- Experience from the pharmaceutical industry would an advantage.
- Experience with QC/QA would an advantage.
- A positive attitude and an open curious mind towards challenges.
