Gubra is looking for a Laboratory Technician (laborant) to join our Molecular Pharmacology & Assay department to support our CRO business and drug discovery activities.
The Molecular Pharmacology & Assay department is delivering biomarker data from in vivo pharmacology experiments to support our CRO business. Furthermore, we support our internal and partnered drug discovery projects by establishing in vitro assays for characterization and potency screening of novel peptide drug candidates. We are 11 scientists and 6 laboratory technicians working closely together and with other departments.

Gubra is looking for a Laboratory Technician (laborant) to join our Molecular Pharmacology & Assay department to support our CRO business and drug discovery activities.
The Molecular Pharmacology & Assay department is delivering biomarker data from in vivo pharmacology experiments to support our CRO business. Furthermore, we support our internal and partnered drug discovery projects by establishing in vitro assays for characterization and potency screening of novel peptide drug candidates. We are 11 scientists and 6 laboratory technicians working closely together and with other departments.
As our new laboratory technician, your tasks will include:
- Test of biomarkers in plasma and tissue samples.
- Assay development using ELISA, MSD, Alphalisa, biochemical assays, flow cytometry or similar.
- Establishment of transient and stable cell lines, for example using HEK293, CHO or COS-7 cell lines.
- Delivery of receptor potency screening data using cell-based assays.
- Data processing and documentation in SOPs and Experiment Log.
Professional qualifications:
- You hold a certified laboratory technician diploma or similar.
- Experience with immuno-biomarker assays (ELISA, MSD, Alphalisa, HTRF or similar) and/or experience with cell work and cell-based assays.
- Interest in working with automatization, incl. pipetting robots/liquid handlers.
- Skilled within data handling and reporting of data.
- Good communication skills in both Danish and English.

- Open to changes and able to navigate and collaborate in an energetic and dynamic organization.
- Organized and structured way of working and committed to delivery of high-quality data.
- Flexible and willing to contribute to all workflows in and outside the department.
- Have a positive mindset.
