Are you eager to join a fast-growing international CDMO organization producing new biological medicines? Are you experienced working with QC testing and working during evenings and nights? In QC Bioassay General Analytics Team, we are looking for a technician to support testing of sample for stability studies, batch release, method validation studies and support our manufacturing facility by testing of stop/go samples. Therefore, as Technician in QC Genaral Analytics, you will be involved in a broad range of critical tasks supporting timely QC deliverables in AGC projects with customers from around the globe. You will join a team of 3 scientists and 6 technicians and report to the Manager of the QC Bioassay General Analytics Team.
About The Department:
QC Bioassay department is part of the Copenhagen based Quality Control organization, which consists of around 150 dedicated and skilled colleagues divided into five departments (Bioassay, Chemistry, Stability, Microbiology, Equipment & Planning). Together, as one department we use our technical expertise when working side by side with customers, to provide innovative solutions to secure timely delivery of reliable and compliant products for patients.
QC General Analytics Team is a part of QC Bioassay Department, which consists of dedicated 3 scientists and 6 lab technicians. In QC General Analytics Team we perform a broad range of tests (e.g. SoloVPE, OD, Osmolality, pH, Appearance, qPCR, Octet, Visual Inspection). The team is responsible for diverse tasks such as analytical method validation, batch release testing, stop/go testing and stability testing of phase I/II and phase III/Commercial products (DS/DP), as well as supporting of analytical activities and troubleshooting; All to support our customers.
Roles And Responsibilities:
As a laboratory technician in the QC General Analytics Team, your primary responsibilities will be focused on analysis in the QC lab during evenings and nights both on weekdays and weekends. The team is also assigned several other tasks to support housekeeping of the QC laboratory.
The main tasks will be the following:
- Ensure on-time testing of stop/go samples to support our manufacturing facility
- Ensure on-time testing of samples for Batch release and Stability studies
- Support validation of analytical methods
- Supporting tasks (e.g. buffer preparation, supporting equipment maintenance, LIMS, inventory of chemical reagents)
- Working according to cGMP Guidelines.
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate holds a degree as technician (laborant) or equivalent. We expect you to have a structured mindset, be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines with a can-do attitude but without compromising the quality.
In addition, we expect you to bring some of the following experience and competencies:
- Experience with performance of following analytical methods (e.g. SoloVPE, OD280, Osmolality, pH, Appearance)
- Experience within testing by Octet and qPCR is an advantage
- Experience working according to cGMP environment
- Good collaboration skills and teamwork
- The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English
