Laboratory Technician
ImmunAware is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate laboratory technician. Our company has grown steadily over the past few years, and we are therefore in need of an extra pair of hands. The position involves the production of reagents, performing QC assays, and occasional assistance in protein purification.
About ImmunAware
ImmunAware develops and produces reagents that allow identification and monitoring of antigen-specific T-cells. Our reagents are used in studies that address infectious disease dynamics, immunotherapy applications in cancer research, and the development of vaccines. Our clients include universities, biotech, and pharma world-wide.
We have recently moved all our operations to DTU Science Park in Hørsholm. The science park is located in a green area and is easily reached from Copenhagen by car or bus. Our small company values informal interactions in a non-hierarchical setting. We are aware that basic research has led to our successful product portfolio and we therefore appreciate new ideas with a startup mindset.
About the position
You will produce and perform quality control of our off-the-shelf peptide-MHC complexes. These consist of custom MHC monomers or tetramers as well as our loadable easYmers® product line. The analytical work will include SDS-PAGE, absorbance measurements, and proximity assays like Alphascreen. When needed, some assistance may be required within the protein purification section.
The position is full-time 37 hours per week.

Du vil indgå i produktionen af vores standard peptid-MHC komplekser, custom MHC mono- og tetramer komplekser samt vores loadable easYmers®. Arbejdet indbefatter brug af og kendskab til SDS-page, samt andre proteinkemiske analyser som protein-protein interaktionsassays (AlphaScreen), Absorbans måling mv. I mindre omfang, vil arbejdet også omfatte analyser tilknyttet oprensningen af rekombinant protein. Stillingen er fuldtids 37 timer ugentligt.

Who are we looking for?
- Education as Research Technician (laborant or laboratorietekniker)
- Experience with laboratory work from academia or biotech
- Experience with complex pipetting tasks; ELISA or SPA experience is preferred.
- Experience with protein biochemistry and purification would be advantageous but not strictly required.
- Experience with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN) and Lab Inventory and Management Systems (LIMS) like Benchling.
- You can fluently communicate in English both written and spoken

- Uddannelse som laborant indenfor proteinkemi
- Erfaring fra laboratoriearbejde i biotek/akademia
- Kendskab til / erfaring med de mest anvendte proteinkemiske analyser/assays
- Kendskab til / erfaring med Electronic Lab Note (ELN) og Lab Inventory and Management System (LIMS).
