Primary responsibilities:
- Visible management and inspiration of the team
- Ensure the daily operation of the warehouse with the team with a focus on structure and efficient handling.
- Ensure that all purchase orders and package orders are counted and registered in UniConta
- Secure accurate stock
- Replenish 3PLs
- Continuous stock control and cycle count
- Secure batch control and sort monthly old batches
- Planning tasks and staffing, including goods receipt and goods departure.
- Develop and optimize the warehouse functions with the team.
- Keep up to date with developments in the area and come up with proposals for new initiatives.
- Sparring with management and other managers.
- Focus to plan with periods of peak load on the warehouse.
- Ensure implementation of internal quality controls and ongoing status
- Handle internal deviations
- Handle complaints regarding warehouse processes
- Keeping the Order handler and sales team up to date with order status.
Other areas of responsibility:
- Keep a professional house keeping at the warehouse
- Coordination of corrective actions
- Ongoing improvement measures
- Provide guidance and support to all functions in warehouse related areas
- Interpretation of rules and regulations within own area
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience from a similar position.
- You lead others through clear communication and clear guidelines
- You delegate and can motivate your employees and colleagues
- You are ambitious and aim to achieve both personal and work-related goals
- You build good relationships with suppliers and colleagues
- Hardworking and strong role model who is able to motivate his team.
- Can maintain an overview and calm during stressful periods
- Can execute and drive projects on target within agreed deadlines.
- Valid truck certificate.
- Experience with packing and picking warehouses and related ERP and BI systems.
- You enjoy working in a dynamic and learning company
- Master Danish and English at negotiation level, in both speech and writing
- You may also speak German
