Do you want to work on one of the biggest civil projects in Europe, large quantity of vessels, barges, dry earth moving, etc. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, hands on colleague for our new Warehouse Assistant.

Fehmarn Belt Contractors I/S (FBC) is a Danish partnership owned by a consortium comprising of Dutch enterprises Boskalis International B.V. and Van Oord Dredging and Marine Contractors B.V. Boskalis and Van Oord are leading marine contractors specialized in dredging, offshore, offshore wind and other maritime services. FBC comprises of a unique combination of experts, vessels and activities of both consortium partners.

Tasks/responsibilities
- Receive, weigh, keep and release different goods and material from the warehouse
- Direct the work of loading, unloading and distribution of goods
- Send stores to the vessels
- Check if the goods comply with the requirements of the accompanying document (transmittal)
- Move the goods and materials to the warehouse by hand or by forklift and sorting them by type, quality, purpose, and other characteristics
- Keep records and update of stock
- Handle garbage from the vessels
- Are responsible to keep the storage area tight and a safe place to work
Required knowledge/experience
Education/certifications:
- You hold a forklift certificate
Experience:
- Preferable previous experience with working in a warehouse
Other requirements:
- It is preferred if you live locally
- Good command of Danish and English (written and spoken)
- Basic computer skills, knowledge of Excel and Word
