We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator who can support our entire portfolio of shipments from point of request of shipping until final delivery, and final GMP archiving.
About the department
You will join the Supply Chain Management department consisting of 63 dedicated colleagues with main responsibility for the areas; procurement, planning, warehousing and shipping. We support the entire AGC production and laboratories and collaborate closely with key stakeholders and external suppliers through the cross-functional supply chain. We are working in an international and customer oriented way to secure fast and reliable support to our customers.
The job
This is an excellent opportunity for someone truly interested in making a difference. You will partner up with our Shipping Coordinators’ and be part of planning and execution of all shipments.
The position calls for someone who is well-organized and are comfortable working individually and as part of a team. Some extended standing and some heavy lifting of 20 kg or more will occasionally be expected.
Responsibilities
- Support pre-pack and final packaging of shipments.
- Follow-up on shipments, evaluate temperature results, reporting and archive of documents.
- Review of relevant packaging and shipping procedures.
- Provide structured approach to the tasks and ensure compliance.
- Keep the bigger picture in mind at all times, yet you understand the importance of minding the details – from the minor to the larger ones.
The ideal candidate is expected to have
- Proactive, hands-on person with good administrative skills.
- Sound IT knowledge, and experienced working with MS-Office package.
- An organized mind-set with the ability to prioritize when dealing with multiple tasks, while respecting all the deadlines.
- Excellent skills in verbal and written English
- Truck license is of advantage, but not a requirement.
