European Energy is a Danish privately owned international company in rapid growth. Your new team

You'll be a part of our expanding PtX Department and the local team at our Kassø plant. This team is currently being built, giving you the opportunity to play a role in its creation. You'll be part of the operational readiness team and have a crucial role in developing and implementing policies, processes, and standards for operation and maintenance. As Operations Lead, you'll be heading a team of CCR Operators and Field Operators.

Your responsibilities

• Oversee and control all PtX production and utility systems to ensure production targets are met and all operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards
• Supervise daily production activities to ensure the plant, processes, and equipment are functioning efficiently
• Guarantee product quality and certifications through online testing, laboratory testing, and mass flow calculations, ensuring product quality and specifications meet customer requirements and sustainability standards
• Coordinate with power grid operator (TSO/DSO), Electrical Operations Manager, and balancing responsible party (BRP) to ensure smooth operation of the large-scale PtX production facility
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams to maximize their performance and engagement
• Train and onboard new employees
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the working environment and safety management system

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years of experience in operation and maintenance of petrochemical, processing plant, power generation plant, or similar, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role as a team leader with responsibility for work schedule planning and being a motivational driver.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills in both Danish and English
