Are you an experienced digital marketeer and do you like to work in both a strategic and operational capacity? Do you want responsibility and an essential role in a Nordic company? Then this position may pique your interest.

You will be responsible for identifying new leads, generate opportunities and increase sales through effective marketing campaigns. You will monitor market trends and adjust marketing strategies as needed to ensure that the company remains competitive and relevant. It's important that you're able to work both commercially and operationally. The company is working with marketing agencies in the Nordics, which means that you will have a close collaboration to secure that the brand expectations are met, the campaigns are aligned and SoMe is activated.

You will be part of a Matrix organization, that supports the business throughout the Nordic region. This requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to take ownership and drive the Marketing initiatives for/with the organization.

Your role


In the role as a Nordic Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for executing on the marketing strategy. The company language is English and it is therefore important that you are fluent both oral and written. Knowledge of Swedish, Finnish and/or Danish is also a preference since you will work closely with the other Nordic teams.

The job tasks include:

  • Develop and execute marketing activities to support the objectives
  • Formalize the marketing strategy in alignment with the brands mission
  • Online marketing campaigns and strategies for the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden and Finland) and locally for each company in close cooperation with marketing agencies and the local organization
  • Secure sales through the website and secure that the website is always up to date
  • Collaborate with all the Nordic teams to execute on the cohesive marketing strategy
  • Has experience working with and supporting a team/organization executing on their ideas and local initiatives
  • Develop and execute lead-generating campaigns to increase sales in close cooperation with the General Managers and the rest of the commercial organization
  • Monitor marketing trends and adjust marketing strategies on a weekly basis
  • Manage the marketing budget and measure ROI on all marketing activities
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns – both internally and alongside external marketing partners

Your background


To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for working with a concept that has a variety of target groups and have a track record of driving growth through effective marketing campaigns. You have a strong business acumen and excellent operational skills. You should be able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. Besides that, you'll be part of a small organization, which means that all are hands-on in their assignments.

Furthermore, it is expected that you have the following professional skills:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager working in a matrix organization
  • Digital mindset
  • Experienced working from or with marketing agencies
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, with experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
  • Commercial mindset, with proven track record of ROI activities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - taking responsibility, leading the way and having a go-getter attitude
  • Being detail oriented and operational
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders - the focus should always be on delivering a high level of service
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify new leads, generate opportunities and adjust marketing strategies as needed

A relevant education in marketing or similar, along with a practical background in digital marketing will be considered as an advantage.
You will work out of the Swedish or Danish organization, but you'll be travelling in the Nordics. You will report to 3 Country Managers, but indirectly to the CEO.
