Can you develop and implement our strategic e-com marketing plan across all markets?

At Kvik the mission is clear: To sell Danish design kitchens, baths and wardrobes at surprisingly low prices.

Kvik has grown sales 74% the last 7 years by growing sales in current stores, opening new stores and new markets. Today Kvik can be found in more than 180 stores in 13 markets - and a lot more stores will open this and next year. Since 2020 Kvik has offered customers many new ways of interacting by launching video meetings, Kvik Home and most recently chat.

Kvik wants to continue to grow at a high pace and wants to offer customers access to the brand 24/7. To deliver on these ambitions, Kvik has decided to hire a new and commercial colleague to build Kvik’s business within e-commerce, including creating a new platform from scratch.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager, who will be responsible of taking the ownership of the digital e-com marketing plan around the online sale in Kvik across all markets. We see tremendous opportunities to create an attractive omnichannel experience for customers by leveraging the interaction between the new e-commerce platform and 170+ retail stores.

Do you run best-in-class digital marketing activities and can you execute our SEM?
You will be responsible for implementing and to execute the e-commerce marketing strategy, when creating our new platform and for launching the concept successfully at the end of 2022, together with our E-com team. The measurable outcome of this new platform must be growth in sales within current and new categories, but most important running best-in-class marketing activities and campaigns. To become a success, you must be able to fulfill the following tasks:

  • Develop and implement the strategic e-com marketing plan, and adjusts plan accordingly to best serve the objectives
  • Overseeing and running day-to-day digital marketing activities, incl. campaigns, content, promotions etc.
  • Developing and implementing Paid Search, shopping, display and social campaigns whilst driving a strong ROAS and ensuring a positive balance between brand and commercial
  • Acquiring and converting new customers and maintaining loyalty amongst customers
  • Briefing creative and producing cost-effective strategies to drive traffic to the sites
  • Monitoring, collecting and working with data

The Digital Marketing Manager will report directly to the E-commerce Manager in Kvik, but have a close cooperation with major stakeholders like; IT, Marketing, digital agencies and other external partners.

Kvik is looking for a profile who already have a relevant commercial experience from an E-com platform, likely from an international retail set-up, and from a highly competitive environment. The right candidate masters the disciplines to monitor, work data-driven, focus on customer loyalty and to commercialize according to the e-commerce and marketing strategy. Therefore, Kvik is searching for a person with the combination of skills within both analyzing, implementing and project lead.

What does it take to be a part of Kvik?We expect you to have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience and proven record, working with digital marketing from an e-com business or from a digital agency. In addition, you may already have a good understanding of retail business dynamics and omnichannel - both on store level, tactical level and especially when it comes to marketing automation.

You are curious and willing to learn and develop yourself in an ambitious and modern culture. You hold good communicative skills, as you communicate widely in the organization and collaborate with many colleagues/stakeholders in many different disciplines and countries.

  • A commercial mindset, with digital marketing experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment
  • Consistently reviewing performance and optimizing campaigns
  • A data-driven mindset with a passion for analytics and insights (experience with CDP and automation)
  • Proven ability to manage 3rd party digital agencies
  • Results from tactical campaigns in a retail/omnichannel company
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Merchant Center, Analytics and planning software
  • Great project management and prioritization skills
  • Business acumen and you are customer-centric
  • The ability to keep focused, effective and maintain momentum under hard pressure, and to keep calm in difficult situations
  • A tactical as well as an operational approach, master clear thinking and good cognitive capabilities

We expect you to be bold, data-driven, cross functional working, and motivated to learn and grow in this role. Finally; we expect you to be strongly motivated by the unique challenge of building up an e-com business.
