The area Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) is the largest organisational unit in with ~30,000 employees globally. The area is responsible for the full supply chain - including the manufacturing - of all products, the quality assurance of all activities, and for providing an IT platform that caters to all business needs. You will be part of the Strategy & Sustainability area in PSQIT which directly supports the Executive Vice President and the senior leadership team of PSQIT. We drive and support efforts to ensure that sustainability is embedded in our processes and strategic decisions across PSQIT and the broader value chain of . Our company ambition is to decouple business growth and environmental impact towards our ambition of zero environmental impact. The position As Vice President of Sustainability in PSQIT, you will report to the Corporate Vice President of PSQIT Strategy & Sustainability and will lead an organisation of ~50 dedicated people. You will be responsible for driving and executing the sustainability strategy for PSQIT based on ’s corporate strategy for sustainability. You will ensure a transparent foundation for business decisions across PSQIT and the value chain of with the purpose of ensuring that the environmental footprint of our company is minimised. Through the PSQIT Sustainability organisation and its environmental subject matter expertise, you will support the manufacturing network in the efforts to explore and implement low carbon and circular solutions and drive continuous improvements. In addition, you will be responsible for the data and digitalisation efforts to provide environmental data oversight and translate sustainability data into insights and scenario simulations for senior leadership decision making. Finally, you are to ensure a systematic approach to environmental compliance and external environmental reporting obligations (e.g. related to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the EU Taxonomy). The position calls for close collaboration with stakeholders across the full value chain of . The impact of the work is global - requiring a global perspective, interaction, and coverage. The role entails a strong focus on driving innovation and securing insights into new technologies and possibilities to ensure environmentally efficient solutions supporting the corporate environmental ambitions. This requires collaborations with a broad range of external partners and fora. As leader of the large PSQIT Sustainability organisation, you are responsible for ensuring organisational robustness and development to proactively assist the future growth within PSQIT. The position will be based in Denmark. Qualifications Our ideal candidate possesses: A master’s degree within a relevant field like engineering, supply chain management, sustainability, and logistics. 5-10 years of experience within the field of sustainability. 5-10 years of experience within manufacturing and/or supply chain. Knowledge within shipping/the transportation sector is an advantage. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand what is required of PSQIT in the context of the value chain and the external environment. Commercial knowledge and proficiency to negotiate contracts with external companies/parties. Strong strategic and analytical mindset with experience in translating a strategic direction for a complex business area and drive processes and results within a large organisation. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to drive an environmental agenda in collaboration with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Capacity to be innovative and curious on new technologies and possibilities. Proven leadership skills and ability to lead a large organisation in a dynamic internal and external environment.
