The Position

We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for customer engagement analytics and transferring insights into actionable prospects for the organisation. As our new Customer Insights Manager, you will aid in driving insights, and make better informed, customer centric decisions. You will deliver both data and narrative, allowing business to gain greater understanding of customer behaviours and decision-making process. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the local multichannel customer engagement ecosystem (including the CRM system), driving its optimal utilization for customer-facing teams, and you will ensure a high level of data integrity.

  • Supporting the organisation with proficient knowledge of driving processes as well as operational support, including training of end-users and oversee change management in the organisation, as well as being a local change agent for new ways of working as you will drive the roadmap for roll-out of new features.
  • Ensuring the teams within the Diabetes, Obesity and Rare Disease business units as well as Medical receive timely, relevant, and concise market insights that help to understand the sales potential across customer groups.
  • Being the centre point and ambassador for the local data and analytics strategy, as well as support business partners to all relevant functions in the affiliate, including the management team, as well as Regional and Corporate functions.
  • Contributing to the Global Finance Vision and Strategy of being the best finance operation in the global pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications

As a person, you have strong functional leadership skills, including an ability to build relationships and trust, and to obtain commitment from both internal stakeholders across cultures and functions. You also have a solid communication style, as well as strong analytical skills, and are able to drive and run complex projects. Additionally, to be successful in this role you should:

  • Hold a master’s degree in business, finance, IT, statistics, or another relevant degree .
  • Have several years of working experience within performance management, CRM project management (Salesforce knowledge is a plus), field force analytics – ideally experience in scoping or deploying CRM/MCE solutions within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Have experience with management of sales and CRM data.
  • Own conceptional understanding of marketing processes and knowledge about developing commercial campaigns at a conceptual level.
  • Have relevant experience working with analytics solutions, core data and analytics technology components such as data visualization tools (i.e. Qlik Sense, PowerBI, data warehouse).

About the Department

Commercial Excellence is a newly established team residing within the Finance and Operations department. The purpose of the Commercial Excellence team is to drive effective commercial execution, generate customer insights and support the commercial strategy across all functions in Novo Nordisk Denmark. The Finance and Operations department is international and consists of a diverse group of highly dedicated professionals. The department is characterised by a lot of energy, collaboration, and trust. The team is ambitious, and the pace is high, but the tone is informal and there is a fun and good-spirited atmosphere in the department.
