Apply today, and join us for a truly life-changing career!The PositionAs Sr. MAPA Director, Diabetes & CV you will identify new and innovative approaches within your area of expertise when driving and challenging projects and deliverables. You will ensure the identification of best practices internally and externally and facilitate improvement and innovation within the MAPA function.As part of your main responsibilities:You will set MA & PA direction and strategy, orchestrating the regional planning, execution, and communication of the value of the Novo Nordisk brands/therapy areas (including MAPA planning for pipeline products) to stakeholders such as patient organisation, politicians, policymakers, payers, HTA bodies and KOL’s You’ll lead and coach people, by setting direction, developing skill sets, and guiding the team to fulfil project goals and apply corrective actions when necessary You will drive strategic internal and external relationships to support market access and public affairs goals You will ensure personal leadership, leading regional Payer Engagement / Public Affairs in close cooperation with local and global MA & PA and in close alignment with your commercial and medical counterparts on cross-functional initiatives You’ll facilitate stakeholder relationships, whereupon you will ensure comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans and HTA submission strategies. Qualifications To be successful in this position you should:Hold an M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in economics, public health, political science, epidemiology, or similar Have at least 7-9 years of experience within a pharmaceutical/biotech company or as a consultant within the life science industry. Documented 5+ years of experience within public affairs/market access Demonstrated analytical capability and proven strategic leadership with an ability to synthesize insights, create focus and influence the organization to move forward Stakeholder management, project management, and interpersonal skills; previous leadership experience is a must Be organized and motivated to deliver on projects, alone or with the team, all the way from A to Z to improve patients’ access to Novo Nordisk’s innovative therapies About the DepartmentNovo Nordisk North West Europe is a region covering 14 countries and employing around 2000 people. The MAPA Diabetes & CV department within External Affairs team drives the market access strategies for our diabetes & CV portfolio. The department drives market access considerations including pre-launch, launch, and LCM activities in close collaboration with global and affiliate teams. The team consists of 6 people and counts managers, sr. managers, and directors. The team is cross-functional covering health economics, pricing, public affairs, and market access. The position is based in Copenhagen. You will report to the VP of External Affairs and you will become part of the wider MAPA leadership team(s).Working at Novo NordiskNovo Nordisk is its people.
