We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager who can work with commercial planning & execution for our Strategy and Commercial Operations (SCO) team in the Region North Europe Office. In this role you will work closely with the CVP of SCO and collaborate with all the teams within the commercial unit and beyond. The Position In this role, you will report to the Senior Director for New Therapy Areas driving the commercial agenda through involvement in ensuring that commercial strategy and the work of the CVP of SCO is supported while also working across the teams, project managing mission-based projects to drive outcomes. This job will give you great exposure to multiple therapy areas, key commercial projects and expansive stakeholder engagement opportunities. 4 key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Ensuring all commercial process run smoothly and enabling the creation and establishment of new processes where current ones are non-existent
  • The support towards development of commercial strategy in the short and mid-term in close collaboration with the CVP of Strategy and Commercial Operations, the different Therapy Area Heads, External Affairs, Medical Affairs and Finance and the EA to the SVP. The tasks here include deliverables upward in the organisation to International Operations (IO) and Global and towards our affiliates.
  • The ability to execute on varied tasks with overlapping timelines to ensure that key commercial priorities are addressed, and priorities defined by the Commercial organisation are executed.
  • Excellent stakeholder interaction and management across various layers of the organisation including Global Marketing, Global Launch Office and Product Supply in Global, with Commercial Affairs and Strategy and the Executive Office in IO and across all the different functions in the Regional Office and the affiliates.
  • These tasks will require a strong business understanding, ability to generate new ideas, bringing innovation, working with a broad stakeholder group and ability to pull-through and execute projects across therapy areas and functions. Qualifications You are an ambitious and proactive individual and have strong stakeholder and project management skills with a proven track record of influencing and impacting all levels in an organisation. Additionally:
  • You hold an academic master’s degree in Life sciences or a business relevant post-graduate education.
  • You have at least 4+ years of experience in project management, commercial, marketing and portfolio management.
  • You enjoy working in cross-functional teams with many stakeholders.
  • You are excellent in laying out content in memos and presentations
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills, and you are fluent in English.
  • You are motivated by working with something new, working in teams and you have a strong drive for excellence and results.
  • About the Team The small and dedicated Portfolio Strategy and New Therapy Areas Commercial Unit leads commercial strategy across therapy areas and lays the foundation for commercial efforts to ensure successful entry into the New Therapy Areas of NASH, Alzheimer’s Disease and Cardiovascular Disease.
