The position
You will be responsible for understanding the OSCD markets dynamics and potential and drive the forecasts for select Therapy Areas within OSCD. The role offers broad insights into Novo Nordisk’s worldwide business, active participation in cross-functional projects, and international collaboration with teams across different functions and geographies.

About the department
The OSCD Insights & Forecasting department is part of the OSCD Commercial Unit which consists of four therapeutic areas: Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Liver Disease (including Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis), and Alzheimer’s Disease.
The Insights & Forecasting department is responsible for driving two critical functions: Generation of key Customer Insights to bring patient- and HCP-level insights into core decisions for strategic brands, patient access, and Research & Development as well as developing market and forecasting models, and delivering up to date and accurate forecasts for the portfolio of projects within OSCD and analysing market dynamics, identifying trends/events and forecasting market development across the product portfolio. The purpose is to drive insightful analyses and recommendations that enable fact-based decision-making in senior management and among key stakeholders across Novo Nordisk.
The OSCD Insights & Forecasting team composition is highly skilled experts with a commercial/business/consulting background and different nationalities. We are 4 people in Denmark and 1 in Bangalore. You will become part of a team of highly motivated, ambitious, and performance-driven colleagues.

The position

- Forecast sales within the OSCD therapeutic areas
- Drive strategic analyses globally as well as assess the sales potential of late-stage development projects
- Analysis of data and critical business information from various sources to shape insights and recommendations to enable strategic decisions within OSCD
- Strong involvement in communicating key insights and analyses to relevant stakeholders across the organisation
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you need the following:
- Master´s degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Business, or Economics
- Minimum 3-7 years’ experience in forecasting at a global level, preferably from the pharma or biotech industry
- Ideal candidate may also have experience with management consulting or project management
- Fluent in English
- High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
