If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the global Corporate Vice President, Cardiovascular Disease (CVD). The Corporate Vice President will report to the Senior Vice President, franchise of Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, MASH & Early Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Preferably, the position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Position As global Corporate Vice President for Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), you play a pivotal role in steering Novo Nordisk towards leadership in the cardiovascular therapy landscape, including developing strategies and identifying key opportunities to enhance Novo Nordisk’s commercial entry in the CVD Therapy Area. You will drive the development of a full go-to-market (GTM) model for the CVD assets portfolio, and the assessment of commercial partnerships and alliances to enhance the portfolio. Leading therapy area development, you will shape and recommend strategic options to relevant Governance Boards to maximize project opportunities and provide materials and tools allowing to execute on launch strategy in the most impactful way. As a member of the leadership team in the franchise of Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, MASH & Early Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), you will lead and develop a high-performing global team, with focus on strong performance and high level of engagement, in alignment with the Novo Nordisk Way. Additionally, you actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, fostering relationships critical for successful strategy development and execution, while also presenting Novo Nordisk's strategy and ambition to key external influencers and organizations, such as external KOLs, NGOs, and other national and international stakeholders. Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Master’s degree preferably in business or science.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably across the value chain (early product development, launch, brand, lifecycle management, commercial strategy (both short and long-term), affiliate execution incl. P&L understanding).
  • Experience working with R&D, marketing, pharmaceutical products, or medical devices, with international exposure in a large organization.
  • Solid leadership experience – delivering proven results through a high performing team.
  • Strong capacity for efficiently managing multiple projects and consistently delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Ability to successfully navigate and comply with relevant Novo Nordisk policies and SOPs.
  • Proven aptitude for strategic thinking and analytical mindset.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
