What is the job about?As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will oversee the definition, implementation, and maintenance of our automated system test framework. This involves creating the software interfaces between our products & solutions and mechanical testbeds, that will enable our product development team to automate the verification and validation of pump applications and components from a holistic system perspective.
Your main responsibilities:
· Spearheaded the selection and implementation of the system testing toolchain at .
· Collaborate closely with product divisions to delineate features and functionality for the test framework.
· Engage with external partners for automated system testing collaboration.
· Develop interfaces for system integration testers in automated testing.
· Take charge of defining system constraints and creating the virtual test environment.
· Contribute to test architecture and CI/CD pipeline.
· Collaborate with our software team to address automation challenges.
· Support training initiatives for organizational utilization of the framework.
· Develop the internal System Integration Test community of Practice, aligning on test practices, methodologies, and training.Your main responsibilities:Your background:

· Relevant educational background in Computer Science, Software Development, or similar.
· Hands-on experience as a Software Developer.
· Proficient in Python and well-versed in object-oriented principles.
· Knowledgeable about automation testing principles.
· Advantageous to have experience with embedded software.
· STQB certified, with Foundation level as an additional advantage.
· Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
Competencies:
· Outgoing personality for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
· Expertise in designing and implementing system automation frameworks, testing at the system level, and working with test equipment and measurement-oriented solutions.
· Problem-solving prowess with a commitment to finding optimal solutions.
· Analytical approach and a great motivation for testing systems and procedures.
· Independent worker with a keen sense of quality and attention to detail.
· Flexibility, effective communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks without losing oversight.
