About the role
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our Fill Finish Automation department. Our department delivers future-proof solutions for the final production step in Pharma production, but we are also involved in the first stages of the production lifecycle, where we use our deep process understanding to make seamless integration of control systems into the facilities.
As a team, we do both detailed programming tasks and integrate systems developed by others into the complex OT and IT layer of our customers. Your role will be key in the Pharmaceutical API projects we do, where PLC solutions are an integral part of the deliveries.

As an Automation Engineer, you’ll be:
- designing and developing Automation solutions both in a traditional mar, but also using new tools such as Digital Twins, AI and automated design.
- integrating PLC based automated solutions into our projects.
- integrating vendor-based systems into existing or new facility systems related to Aseptic production equipment as well as process related solutions.
- developing SCADA and PLC solutions specifically for the purpose of standard deliveries.
- a part of a team of 50+ engaged and skilled Automation engineers.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- You have a degree as an engineer, technician, computer scientist or similar with 0-3 years of experience (preferably within the pharma- or biotech industry).
- Knowledge of automation and SCADA/PLC systems and their integrations.
- You speak and write English fluently.
The following qualifications are considered a bonus:
- Experience within designing and building automation solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with some of the following control systems: SCADA: iFix/WinCC/Aveva/Ignition, PLC’s:Siemens, Allen Bradley.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements GMP and GAMP in coction with pharmaceutical production.
