We are experiencing a growing global market for sustainable biomass and waste-to-energy facilities. The complexity and the collaboration with a plethora of disciplines provides unique challenges. We are talking about plants which can burn up to 100 tons per hour, providing power and heat while staying within the permitted exhaust parameters for discharge into our air and water. We develop, produce, build, service and manage plants. This provides you with highly specialized colleagues. We are looking to add another Lead Mechanical Engineer to our combustion equipment team.
Lead and coordinate our projects
The primary task will be coordination of the entire mechanical project scope in collaboration with other departments, as well as taking the lead of the technical, financial and time-related aspects of the mechanical delivery.
The mechanical part of the projects in relation to the fuel feeding systems, the combustion grates and the ash handling systems. You will primarily work on new builds, but we also do licensing and larger service projects. You will become responsible for sub deliveries on projects that range between 50-500 mil DKK globally.
As part of the role, you participate in project meetings ensuring components are planned according to contract and legal/regulatory requirements. You will also keep track on both internal and external production while being the link to the site. We are a global matrix organization, which requires the ability to collaborate in an international environment. Responsibility for internal and external suppliers in terms of production and assembly is part of the role as well as any technical improvements and updates on components and machines.
You will ensure our contracts meet the requirements, demands and our own technology standards. You will take lead on projects and continuously drive, plan and schedule the mechanical side as part of a dynamic, international project team.

Mechanical Engineer with an outgoing personality
You report to our Department manager in Holsted and can expect up to 30 travel days per year.

Mechanical Engineer with an outgoing personality
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical education on the same level.
- Experience with project coordination – preferably from machine industry.
- Experience making technical specifications.
- Experience with 3D CAD (Inventor or Solidworks) and AutoCAD.
- Advantage if you have experience with SAP, ANSYS and knowledge of EN1090.
- English skills – written and spoken. It is an advantage if you speak and write Danish.
