Georg Jensen is looking for a Finance Specialist with experience within treasury and financial controlling. You will join a finance team consisting of highly skilled and passionate employees working in Financial Controlling, Business Controlling and Accounting. The culture in the team is characterized by their diligent approach and action orientation when executing. It is important that our new employee can take responsibility for own job area and work independently.
You will work at our beautiful HQ in Frederiksberg, close to metro, bus, and the Frederiksberg Gardens.

The role
The position is categorized by being both a leading position where the employee has own area of responsibilities and a supporting role for financial controlling. The criteria for success in this position will be to work proactively with FX and gold/silver hedges, steering of cash and successfully participate in and take ownership of audit processes within the department.

You have minimum of 3-5 years of experience from a similar position working with IFRS and financial controlling with an interest and flair for treasury management or working in a treasury department with experience and interest for financial statements.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Steer liquidity position of Georg Jensen through peaks to optimize cash flow globally and within headquarter cash pool
- Financial accounting of metal supply (gold and silver) including execution of hedging in accordance with financial policies
- Point of contact for bank and bond agent, including reporting to banks and other relevant stakeholders
- External reporting incl. preparing consolidated financial statements for Georg Jensen A/S and the other Danish entities in the group
- Prepare and ensure effective audit process on a group level and for the companies managed by the shared service center
- Deliver exchange rates for actuals and forecasts as well as provide interest rate assumptions for business cases in accordance with funding rates
- Commentary on financial items for monthly management reporting
Your Profile:
You have minimum of 3-5 years of experience from a similar position working with IFRS and financial controlling with an interest and flair for treasury management or working in a treasury department with experience and interest for financial statements.
- A Master’s degree in economics e.g., Cand. Merc. Aud. or secondary HD in Finance / Management Accounting
- Profound business understanding with a true financial mind-set
- Team player who is proactive with a high drive
- Ability to work well under pressure and be results oriented
- High proficiency in written and oral English
- Highly skilled MS Office user, especially Excel
- Knowledge of AX12 and Prophix is desirable but not a must
