Position Overview
To support the integration of Give Konfekture into Puratos Denmark and the development of the business in Denmark, we are recruiting a talented Financial Controller working out of our office in Give, Denmark to strengthen the finance team.
In your role, you will report to the Finance Manager of the Northern Europe region and play a key role by contributing significantly to the financial performance of the company. Your first mission will be to facilitate the integration of the finance processes of the recently acquired subsidiary into the Puratos standards and to develop a controlling environment in the factory with the support of the Regional Finance team. You will play a key role in the implementation of the new ERP system (SAP).
We offer you a strong development path with opportunities of evolution within the company, including development into a full business controlling function for Denmark and the subsidiaries in the Nordic countries.

Bachelor or Master in Finance or Business Administration with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience. Experience from a manufacturing environment - preferably in a multi-national context – or financial audit is highly recommended:

Key accountabilities
Finance Controlling
- Support local management with monthly profitability analysis of commercial and production KPIs. Identify attention points, corrective actions and provide ad hoc support for specific topics
- Act as a business partner in the SAP implementation, driving the finance and plant process. Coordinate the tasks and manage the timeline with the technical and local teams
- Challenge stakeholders and partners to improve internal procedures. Safeguard and guarantee optimal use of company assets, including debtor management, stock control, cash management, trade creditors, control over fixed assets, application of Group and local accounting principles, analysis of investments
- Enhance the use of business intelligence (BI) solutions within the organisation: provide insight on finance data (sales, profitability, costs, overdue from customers), automate reports, promote tools and train colleagues
- Participate in pricing committees, provide actual costing input in collaboration with Purchasing, provide advice on pricing and pricing strategy to sales and management
- Be a key player in the budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. Coordinate with various stakeholders, consolidate and analyse budgets, prepare management reports and presentations
- Contribute to the monthly closing and reporting of figures in close collaboration with the accounting team
- Support the company in its journey towards its CO2-neutral commitment for 2030
Capital investment management
- In collaboration with management and operations, evaluate the CAPEX requirements to enhance production performance. Provide assumptions to enrich and elaborate on business plans, and follow up on the approval process
- Review IRR for all major capital additions with documented business case scenario;
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master in Finance or Business Administration with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience. Experience from a manufacturing environment - preferably in a multi-national context – or financial audit is highly recommended:
- You are accurate, efficient and have a strong business acumen and drive for results
- You are capable to organize, plan and execute reliably and independently
- You are agile and thrive in diverse and changing environments
- You are communicative and able to adapt to your audience
- You are proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of SAP and/or Power BI is an advantage
- You have excellent Danish and English writing and communication skills
- You have strong influencing, analytical and problem solving skills
- You are a team player and practice partnership at all levels of the organization
- You are ready to travel as part of your job
