Student Assistant

Svitzer is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student assistant to support our commercial team and help drive the success of our decarbonisation and product ambitions. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with implementation, benchmarking, research, and project management as we roll-out out our decarbonisation initiatives and design go-to-market strategies that introduce new and innovative products to the world.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of internal behavioural change initiatives that support our decarbonisation agenda.
• Support the development and launch of new products by conducting market research, analyzing customer feedback, and assisting with product development and testing.
• Help to manage and track progress on projects and initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects concurrently
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau) is a plus
• Passion for sustainability and desire to make a positive impact on the environment

This is a part-time position with flexible hours to accommodate the successful candidate's academic schedule.
