The Role of Business Support

As a Business Support, your primary responsibility will be to work with both new and existing customers globally, acting as a liaison between them and our organization. Reporting to the CCO based in Germany, you will coordinate and closely collaborate with various teams at biomega®, including Quality, Product Management, Finance, and R&D. You will share office with approximately 10 colleagues at Marineholmen in Bergen, with a total of 60 colleagues at biomega®.

Your tasks will include:

• Coordinate and respond to customer requests for prices, samples, documentation, and other information
• Follow up on projects
• Utilize CRM to assist in sales cycle management, opportunity tracking, customer interaction log, etc.
• Prepare presentation materials and sales statistics for Account Managers
• Prepare offers to customers
• Act as the key internal contact for customers and internal service departments
• Support preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitor competitors and prepare sales reports

The profile we are looking forward to welcome

We are seeking a proactive team player to secure customer success. To accomplish your tasks, you must be structured and proactive, with a passion for supporting customers. We assume that the right candidate for this position has the following background:

• University graduate - bachelor or master
• Experience from a business support role in an international B2B commercial environment
• Knowledge from the food industry is an advantage, or you have an educational background in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related area
• Cultural awareness, adaptability, and confidence to operate across geographic regions
• Motivated self-starter
• Pragmatic problem-solver combined with strategic thinking
• Excellent spoken and written English, and you can communicate verbally in Norwegian (which is used as the main language at the office in Bergen)
