The Sustainability Management Systems & Audit Lead role will play an important part in maintaining and continuously evolving Vacuum Technique's Sustainability Management systems to support our goal of zero harm and meet the needs of our stakeholders and new legislation. In your role you will provide training to support these systems and an audit program to ensure compliance with the requirements of the management system. This is necessary to achieve our ambition of a leading sustainability performance, with world-class levels of safety and environmental management.

Here's how you will help

• Manage, maintain and continually improve the VT sustainability/SHE management system, including the RCEs and their supporting documents to support our goal of zero harm and meet regulatory and industry standards.

• Collaborate with document owners to ensure regular review of all documents.
• Maintain the VT Core SHE training materials in Learning Link and develop new/refresh as required.
• Develop new communication and training materials as required to support the management system, working with the VT Sustainability Communications function.
• Lead the VT Sustainability/SHE audit program to support double materiality, monitor non-conformities and actions to close these.
• Lead the 'GRACE' audit software system.
• Partner in the VT and Group internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability and SHE Management Systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage sustainability certifications for VT.

To succeed you will need:

• Engineering or sustainability degree
• Minimum of 5 years experience in industry
• Experience of developing sustainability/SHE management systems and processes and integrating these into an organisation's operations.
• A passion for innovation
• Ability to drive change, influence, work with all levels of the company
• Ability to adapt to growth and change in the role
• Interested in all sustainability related topics
