Service Desk Business Unit Manager

We are looking for you who want to take the overall responsibility for our Service Desk in Öresund. This means that you live near Malmö or Copenhagen. Through our Service Desk, our customers get access to Atea's highly professional and collective expertise on IT-related matters and can focus on their core business. Our mission is to be our customers' single point of contact for IT related advice and support. The focus of the role is to create structure and to maintain quality, customer- and employee satisfaction.

Job objectives and responsibilities:

  • To manage the Service Desk team’s ongoing work, supporting vision, strategy and mission implementation and fulfillment.

  • To ensure that the Service Desk work is carried out throughout the defined timeframes and goals are achieved.

  • To track Service Desk performance to ensure that the required professional expertise and knowledge is developed and met.

  • To govern a work discipline, framework, policy, regulations and procedures in the reporting teams for Service Desk Level 1 and Level 2 and creating motivating and effective teams and continually delegating to the reporting leadership team.

  • To generate the performance reports that reflect the Service Desk status and the performance in meeting service objectives.

This is what we are looking for in You

To succeed in the role, we see that you have previous experience of leadership and track record in the IT customer support field. You also need to be certified in ITIL 4 foundation. It is important that you are goal-focused and structured and good at following up. You will collaborate with colleagues in all our countries, so you need to be able to speak English at a good level.
