The European Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing support and service to all of the PSC/FSC’s, Buy-Sell, DRBG Technical Support, throughout the life cycle of the range of ITCG products, in order to positively influence the Canon brand image and product profitability.

And work as team leader together with other technical specialist for achieve team responsibility with assist to manager. The scope of product to support is OPP (Office Personal Products), which is Printer/Scanner/Zoemini/Calculator Main product is Printer / scanner.

Service planning and set up service for new products
  • Create and publish service policy for new product based on the directions of CINC
  • Technical setup and preparation for new products (Spare parts, training sample products, service tools, adjustment master data etc.)
  • Create and publish product service manual for new product.
  • Receive product service training from CINC.
  • Provide product service training to EMEA service staff on required product.

Technical support for EMEA
  • Provide Technical inquiry support for responsible product which escalated from customer/ EMEA service/Others. (FSC/CRC/ NSO/ RSO service/ sales etc.)
  • Provide solution for technical issue in service/ repair.
  • Technical tool management/ maintenance/ data calibration for tools etc.
  • Create and distribute service information for product (repair/ adjustment method/spare parts changes etc.)
  • Feedback Technical issue on repair/ service to CINC
  • Technical audit for service/ repair in PSC/FSC
  • Provide technical solution/feedback on service/ repair for improve quality and productivity
  • Support spare parts issue on responsible product with spare parts management team
  • When necessary, provide technical support for tender business, special customize required business.
  • Continuously look for ways to make the technical functions more efficient across Europe
  • Work with all the Customer Service departments, Product Management and parts divisions to ensure alignment
  • Ensure effective and regular communication of all activities across the EMEA area
  • Ensure effective and regular communication of all activities with Canon Inc responsible QA

Quality analysis for product
  • Monitor and report market situation on product. (repair/ service/ call situation/ QI situation/ escalated issues etc.)
  • Investigate market issue on products and feedback to CINC for make solution
  • Handle Quality Issue with required action (arrange Web announcement notification/ rework etc. (if required))

Salary: between £33,870 and £39,848 dependent on experience plus 10% bonus

What we ask


  • Electronic/mechanical engineering (repair) educational) background
  • Strong computer knowledge in Mac, MS Office and Windows based operating systems
  • Strong communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Proven proficiency and knowledge of B2B & B2C Service sectors
  • Canon ITCG product knowledge (essential)
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required / Other language an advantage
  • Travel: Available to travel to other Canon EMEA countries/Japan (as needed)
