Application Architect

DXC Technology Denmark provides the IT technology for large public customers in Denmark. We develop and maintain some of society's most critical systems.

As an Application Architect, you will lead the change in designing, developing, and integrating cutting-edge software applications. Be at the forefront of technology, working with a dynamic team to create impactful solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

This role requires technical insight from the latest versions of Java and the ability to see the big picture and translate end-user needs into solutions by working closely with the customer, the business analysts and the developers in the team.

You have a background as a Senior Java developer who is experienced with the tool stack mentioned below and enjoys developing software. Moreover, we value the following skills:

• Has experience with automated deployments and defining related development tasks.
• Can find root cause of bugs reported based on what users see – not what the application does.
• Has the ability to look at the application with a top-down approach and draw the architectural lines while being loyal to standards and common code modules developed in the project.
• Is used to mentoring less experienced developers such that the software is developed in accordance with the architectural lines while still providing the developers with the possibility to grow technically.
• Can go into specific, hard technical challenges and develop or describe solutions.

• Waterfall for functional areas, Scrum in each functional area.

Languages:

• Fluent in Danish and English, both oral and written.
