Do you want to come on board?
We are looking for an Expert Trainer to join the Academy team and to be a driving force in all training activities related to MES (Marine Evacuation Systems), amongst other.

Based at our headquarters in Esbjerg you will report to the Global Training Manager and join a team of 9 dedicated colleagues. The team delivers top notch training experiences for both customers, partners and VIKING employees. The training includes e-learning, blended learning activities and onsite training. All these efforts are geared towards enhancing the end user’s experience with a core focus on quality and safety.

As an Expert Trainer, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering MES Technician training in accordance with standardized procedures
• Maintaining and developing training materials and concepts for MES service technicians and customers
• Coordinating MES related training with the team of MES trainers and other product segments within the network of trainers
• Performing MES inspections and audits in coordination with the Global QHSE department
• Capturing and documenting learnings from training, audits and other for further improvements

In this role you will work closely with other trainers within the product segment and cooperatively with trainers from our global network of trainers. Of course, we'll make sure you receive thorough training and instruction in our products and systems.

You can expect up to 40 global travel days per year.

Your background
To be successful in this role, you must have experience from a similar position and a relevant technical education, such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

The ideal person has experience within a large global organization and knowledge within the maritime industry, energy or similar industry. Further, preferably an experience with MES/Marine life saving products and services.

Other than that:

• Customer focused and committed to delivering the best learning experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and spoken
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent in delivering value-adding training to different levels of participants

Your working style is relationship-building, innovative and professional - with a "can do" attitude.

Your personality is also important. We expect you to be proactive, curious, detail-orientated and self-driven. And you have the ability to create strong cross-functional collaborations - both internally and externally.
