To our Custom Application Transformation Department, where we build, transform and maintain custom applications portfolios for customers in primarily the Public and Private sector we are looking for an Advisory Director heading up our advisory team.

If you have a broad understanding of the possibilities of new technology driving our client’s digitalization and are excelling in communicating, advising, and staging the client’s application portfolio to next generation you can be the one we are searching for.

As Advisory Director you will become a very important person in setting the strategic and tactical footprint for developing our services to our customers as well as you will be responsible for building up our sales pipeline for new opportunities together with the management and the sales organization.

You will report directly to the head of the department and be a part of our management team. You will be heading up the advisory team currently consist of 6 very highly skilled and dedicated people with a broad background within IT, consulting, management, and sales. We expect that you yourself take an active part in the daily work as the team management part is a minor task due to the team’s seniority and self-management.

As Advisory Director you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and execution of sales and project activities
  • Participate in customer and stakeholder engagements – during both sales and delivery phase
  • Analyze market for business opportunities
  • Contributing to continuously developing our services and propositions
  • Business development (e.g., sales presentations, one-pagers, developing concepts)
  • Drive short-term and long-term pipeline management
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and participate in customer management activities, presentations and deliver input to bids, market dialogs and agreements.
  • Participate in writing bids for public tenders
  • Unit strategy development, including communication and follow-up on operational/strategic boards
  • Ongoing customer contact during projects to manage leads according to NNIT’s value
  • Continuously drive business development including development and adjustment of services, concepts, and prices
  • Internal communication and stakeholder management

To succeed in this role, it is important that you:

  • Have excellent communication skills. You will communicate with customers and external partners daily
  • Curiosity for IT technology and its possibilities
  • Able to control a lot of balls in the air
  • Have an entrepreneurial attitude but still having the feet on the ground
  • Can achieve results through negotiations on a tactical and strategic level
  • Unifies multiple concepts and defines new directions or crucial improvements of products and/or services across field of work

We also expect:

  • A relevant master’s degree and have +8 years of work experience from an IT vendor or from a management consulting company
  • Preferably experience with public sector
  • Experience with specialist field of work
  • Possible management experience or detailed expert knowledge within a single field of work
  • That you to speak and write Danish and English
