We are now looking for a new General Manager (GM) for our product company in Hungary as current GM, Nick Evans will take on a new assignment within the business area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward thinking leader looking to be part of a global organization leading the team and business towards sustainable profitable growth.

In our professional and well established Product Company (PC) we assemble Pneumatic and Electric tools, Electric Stators, and advanced Sensors and Embedded Cameras, in a world class manufacturing lean facility. The facility has its own engineering function that implements new products alongside our central R&D teams. We produce multiple brands and supply product to numerous Divisions with the ITBA Business Area. With manufacturing sites in the United Kingdom, Hungary and Sweden, along with innovation and customer centers in Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia, as a Group we have the ability to deliver solutions globally while serving customers locally.

Mission

Your mission will be to continue to develop and execute a global operation that can meet customer requirements in terms of product delivery, quality and price with a state-of-the-art manufacturing process. You will lead and develop our people in line with our corporate values and the Industrial Technique Business Area (ITBA ) People Strategy. The needs of the business should always be your guiding principle.

In this role you will be part of the Operations Management Team and report to VP Global Operations based in Sweden.

Main Responsibilities

Devise and implement a strategy that delivers accordingly to Operations Mission and Vision for PC NTTH (Nacka Tierp Tentec Hungary)

• Develop a sustainable, agile operation maintaining a strong customer focus underpinned with a Continuous Improvement methodology and mindset.
• Support the continued alignment of the Global Product Companies to improve efficiencies and quality of product and services.
• Develop the best talent pool in the market and encourage professional growth as well as mobility within the organization.
• Direct and oversee the continued development of the [xxxxx] Way
• Ensure a solid consolidated profitability both short and long term as well as maintaining a healthy local P&L and balance sheet

Experience

We are looking for a person with a successful background in several parts of the supply chain including proven track record in operations management - ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Education

A university degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
