As Garment Technician you will be a part of our Technician team in our Group Buying, CSR & Garment Tech department. We are responsible for the fitting across all categories and brands across hummel. Our team has a strong collaboration, and we enjoy having fun while working. We are always helping each other – making each other better.

As our new Garment Technician (Maternity cover) you will be responsible for all fitting, measurements and comments for a given product line, from a collection start up to production. This includes creating styles in Delogue with all technical specifications of a garment such as item list, measurement chart with gradings, etc. You will be working closely with the design team, product developers, the buying team, and suppliers across different countries and cultures to make sure that we develop the best products we can.

This is a fulltime maternity cover on a fixed term of 12 month.

Your work assignments
As our new Garment Technician (Maternity cover) you will be responsible for all fitting, measurements and comments for a given product line, from a collection start up to production. This includes creating styles in Delogue with all technical specifications of a garment such as item list, measurement chart with gradings, etc. You will be working closely with the design team, product developers, the buying team, and suppliers across different countries and cultures to make sure that we develop the best products we can.
In your everyday work you will:
- Follow the products from proto stage to production by keeping the focus on deadlines
- Be responsible for fit samples and fit comments for a given productline
- Ensure samples are correct according to specifications and workmanship
- Make sure to keep or develop the perfect fit for each garment in the productline
- Check up and approve shipment samples
- Have a daily contact with suppliers
- Be a link and sparring partner to the designers, product developers and the buying team
Our new team player
We imagine that our new Garment Technician (Maternity cover) work with a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset in all the given tasks. You pay special attention to details as it is important that you always keep focus on the quality of the products. You are an independent team player with a positive energy and an open mindset.
Furthermore, you have the following skills:
- Have a degree as a Technician or Pattern designer from the fashion industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Good knowledge of the value chain
- Excellent at prioritizing tasks and maintaining the overview, always having deadlines in mind
- You must be fluent in both written and spoken English, Danish is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe illustrator
- Knowledge of Delogue PLM is a plus but not required
