Finance Partner to a new established sourcing and manufacturing area Do you want to use your strong financial skills and business mind-set in supporting Novo Nordisk ambitious production capacity expansion strategy? The position As Finance Partner, you will be responsible for facilitating the financials of the new established business area Device Manufacturing & Sourcing II (DMS II) which are responsible for the Single Dose Device platform, from sourcing and manufacturing. Since it’s a new area, you will be leading the full financial establishment of the area from integrating an annual financial wheel to the technical setup in SAP for instance to ensure a high financial transparency of the areas’ costs and components from internal and external vendors etc We offer a finance role with plenty of exciting opportunities to make an impact, where you will help ensure strong financial tracking and development in the DMS II business area, and where you will be involved in a wide range of activities related to Financial Management and Finance Partnering. As Finance Partner to DMS II, your responsibilities will include:
  • Establishing and operating the annual financial wheel of financial reporting and budgeting for DMS II operating costs to be in control and transparent
  • Delivering high quality fact-based insights and forecasting to support business decisions and actions
  • Driving competitive value creation by linking finance activities to business priorities, and ensuring connection between business plans, activities, and optimal resource allocation, and delivering trusted finance partnering to support for decision making
  • Continuously improve productivity by process optimization and visualization of financial insights
  • Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, you possess:
  • Strong financial background with a Master’s degree within Finance, Economics or Accounting (cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit or similar)
  • Good understanding of financial management and controlling, as well as experience within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Previous experience with production is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential
  • Proficiency in both oral and written English
  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • About the department You will report into the Finance Manager of Finance Controlling & Partnering (FC&P) team developing and driving financial management within operational costs and manning. We are responsible for the Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability (CSDS) area across all product portfolios, external contributors and on behalf of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT. This includes sourcing operations, strategic sourcing, manufacturing and development of devices and needles, management of all contract manufacturers and local manufacturing in strategic markets.
