Would you like to be responsible for engaging in all aspects of the insurance processes in one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies? Then you might be the new Insurance Advisor in our highly ambitious Insurance Risk Management Team! The position The position will give you a broad insight into the Novo Nordisk business and organisation. You will learn to understand the various business areas which in turn will enable you to make recommendations on whether risk should be retained or transferred. You will get a broad and international contact base, as you will cooperate closely with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally including external brokers and insurance companies at both national and international level. As Insurance Advisor, you will with reference to the Manager for Insurance Risk Management, have the responsibility for your own portfolio of insurances and will be the key contact person for insurance placements, claims, loss prevention, contract and coverage questions. You will be responsible for engaging in all aspects from analysis to negotiation either directly or in co-operation with our insurance brokers. You will identify and assess both current and emerging insurable risks. About the Department The position is located in our headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark. You will be part of the Insurance Risk Management team which comprises of 3 other highly skilled and professional employees which will ensure further development of your capabilities. Insurance Risk Management is part of Corporate Treasury which also consists of the Corporate Financial Risk department, responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s financial risks at group level and the Global Financial Risk department responsible for handling financial risks in affiliates. Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position has: The desire, enthusiasm, and ability to be a best in class Insurance Advisor and has a minimum of 2 years’ experience with global insurance programmes. An academic background with a Master’s Degree in Law, Economics, Finance or a similar field. You could also have an educational background from an insurance academy. Strong analytical skills and flair for IT. Proficiency in English and Danish, both orally and written. Great communication skills which enables you to work efficiently across functions and geographical borders with both internal and external stakeholders.
