The position As Environmental Monitoring Senior Scientist, you are responsible for: Ensuring compliance and documentation for running the processes as well as our EM projects that involve several people in the organisation as we support 5 big units Working methodically with your tasks, as we focus on optimizing both LEAN behaviour and the use of LEAN methods Supporting several optimization projects in the factories and automated solutions Last but not least, we work with people and behaviour We offer an exciting position with ample opportunity to influence workflows and procedures as well as participation in specialised groups across the organisation. The working day and the tasks are distributed at the desk and in the production areas, where you can be in charge of several parallel tasks and/or projects. You succeed by being visible and by having a 'go-look-see' approach in your support for production. Furthermore, you will work with key stakeholders, which can be Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, suppliers, and all colleagues in production. Qualifications We are open to considering candidates from different levels of seniority, from newly qualified to experienced, hence the complexity of tasks will be adapted. Nevertheless, to thrive and succeed, we expect you to: Hold an academic degree in microbiology, pharmacy, veterinary, or another similar or technical field Have knowledge and experience in hygiene, microbiology, and/ or environmental monitoring Be strong in data and statistics with the ability to think of theoretical and practical solutions Have proficient in written and oral Danish and English As a person, you are action and goal-oriented, proactive, ambitious and a team player who enjoys working for common goals. You are good at building relationships and are able to engage colleagues for deliverables. Furthermore, you approach even difficult challenges with positivity, optimism and a “can do” approach and with a will to make things succeed. About the department You will be part of our EM Support team, which is responsible for the internal environment in four fine-cleaning factories and a spray dryer. The factories produce the active substance for insulin as well as other diabetes medicines for the whole world. By ensuring a good environment in the factories, you help to ensure a good delivery of high-quality products for patients. The team consists of 20 employees. We are a team that is characterized by a high level of quality in our work. We have an open and positive attitude and treat each other with respect. At the same time, we are ambitious and keep our agreements. The Purification Plants (PP) factories are characterized by the fact that we stand together and help each other. Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg, is just over an hour's drive from Copenhagen or Odense, has an area equivalent to 156 football pitches, and is the world's largest insulin production site.
