We are seeking an experienced Vice President to oversee and lead our manufacturing operations in Iran.
In this role, you will lead the overall performance of a modern site, which employs 130 people and uses state-of-the-art technology to produce life-changing medicines for patients. You will ensure the achievement of business objectives, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintenance of a strong safety and quality culture. You will be part of Local Manufacturing management, a team of senior leaders responsible for all local manufacturing operations in Novo Nordisk within diabetes care.
Key Responsibilities: Manage site operations, including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and visitors to the site. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring site processes are optimized and meet stakeholder expectations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the local Novo Nordisk sales affiliate, local authorities, and external business partners. Collaborate with – and learn from – other Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial position. International experience. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements and quality standards. Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement, and managing budgets and resources. Strong lean leadership toolbox and experience with strategy deployment Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
