The position As our new Senior Project Manager in Inbound Supply Management within Sourcing Operations you will lead the development and implementation of new material planning processes and a new planning system. Equally importantly, you will, together with the leadership team, motivate and sustain high engagement in our two planning teams during this transformation. Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead transformation of our purchase planning processes and transition to new planning system (from SAP APO to OMP) Negotiate effective solutions with a broad range of stakeholders that both meet local requirements and help optimise our future flow in Novo Nordisk Drive high engagement in two planning teams throughout the transition Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw, primary and printed packaging materials to all Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites around the world during the transition. You will report to the Director of Inbound Supply Management and collaborate closely with the leadership team in Inbound Supply Management. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have: A master’s degree in a relevant field At least 5 years of proven experience as a project manager driving complex cross-functional supply chain projects and/or people leadership responsibility within supply chain in a pharmaceutical or medical devices industry A strong inbound supply chain knowledge, and the ability to create lasting results in a large organisation Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust, establish broad professional networks and influence strategic decisions Fluency in English, both written and spoken. As a person, you possess excellent communication skills that allow you to adapt your approach quickly depending on the situation and to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation. You have a clear and concise communication style. Last but not least, you thrive in driving changes. About the department Inbound Supply Management is part of Sourcing Operations, which has the overall operational responsibility for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consists of 400 employees. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally.
