The Position Acting as Senior Project Manager (Finished Products) in Local Manufacturing (LM) gives you the opportunity to work with a wide range of different projects. You might act as work package owner in large projects covering packaging and assembly or you might even act as the overall project manager with other SPMs and SMEs reporting to you in the project context. As a project manager in LM, you are expected to have a solid understanding of the Finished Product processes, e.g. packaging and assembly. A general understanding of other manufacturing processes will be an advantage. Examples of projects are: Technology Transfer projects between Novo Nordisk and our CMO partners Optimization projects at our manufacturing sites in Russia, Japan, Iran, and Algeria Lead large investment projects or market access projects for new LM facilities or expansions for our existing sites All Local Manufacturing projects are anchored in the Virtual Project group with project managers from all our LM sites. That also means that your project team will have a very diverse composition and that most of your work will be in a virtual setting. During peak periods traveling will be a natural part of driving a successful project and keeping close to your important stakeholders. Hence, some travel time must be expected (~ 8 weeks/year). Qualifications We are looking for a new colleague to join us on the exciting and ambitious journey to further strengthen the outcome of our international projects in Novo Nordisk. Ideally, you have an advanced degree in Engineering or similar and at least 10 years of Project or Production Management experience, especially in an international, multicultural environment. Setting and achieving short- and long-term goals with partners internally and externally. Experiences with Technology Transfer will be an advantage. Working with projects in LM also means working on highly important projects for Novo Nordisk. Hence, having the professional experience to balance between driving things forward individually and involving important stakeholders, and being inspired by other colleagues across Novo Nordisk is key to success in this position. About the Department Local Manufacturing (LM) is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organization and consists of ~800 employees. The primary role of LM is the establishment and operation of manufacturing sites in countries where a local presence is required to obtain market access. LM is present in countries like Japan, South Africa, Russia, Belarus, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria. Novo Nordisk Local Manufacturing Strategy is the platform of our business where it is stated we work in compliance with EU GMP as well as local requirements. Your psychical location is expected to be our Danish office in Soeborg, but it will also be an option to work from other locations in a virtual setting.
