Our new Software Engineer will become part of our Platform Engineering team in our Cloud Centre of Excellence. The newly established team is responsible for improving the overall developer experience (DevX) in Novo Nordisk. We are building an Internal Developer Platform with a focus on self-service capabilities, inner-sourcing, reusable infrastructure components, and Golden Paths. At Novo Nordisk, we're passionate about empowering our team members to drive change and bring new perspectives to the table. Some exciting things you will get to work on include:

Designing, developing, and improving our Golden Paths to improve developer productivity.

Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and provide guidance on building scalable, secure, and highly available software using Golden Paths.

Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging cloud technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our platform and making recommendations for adoption.

Implement and manage an inner-souring platform including artifact management for all of Novo Nordisk.

Establish an inner-source platform based on Github Enterprise in Novo Nordisk and be part of evangelizing a sharing and learning culture.

Designing and building APIs to enable our Internal Developer Platform concepts.

The position is based in Ballerup, Denmark. Do you have what it takes? To be successful in the role:

You have an IT-related education, at BSc level or higher, and/or professional experience within automation and cloud development.

As a person you are motivated by challenging assignments, you absorb new knowledge quickly, and you are always open for developing new competencies.

Experience in at least one backend focused languages such as: C#, NodeJS, Java, Go.

In addition, you may have experience with some of the following:

At least one modern cloud provider such as: AWS, Azure or GCP

At least one scripting language such as: Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Modern developer workflows using CI/CD pipelines: Azure DevOps and Github preferred.

Experience with or interest in learning languages for building developer tooling such as Go and Rust

Modern developer paradigms such as Domain and Event driven design patterns.
