In your capacity as a Head of Financial planning, R&ED Finance, you will drive finance partnering and value creation in the SVP/CVP areas under your responsibility, through coaching and leading a team of Finance Partners as well as responsible for driving process excellence across the whole R&ED Finance team.
Key responsibilities Team Lead position with a team of 4 Finance Partners, 1 Student Assistant and indirectly leadership of 2 colleagues in Global Business Services in India. Drive finance partnering and value creation in the responsible SVP/CVP areas under your responsibility through coaching and leading the team of Finance Partners Process owner for all recurrent financial processes across R&ED Finance (MMR, Quarterly-/Year-end landing, RE2/AB etc.) and responsible for reconciliation and financial management of the overall R&ED budget Drive standardisation and optimisation of processes and tools across R&ED Finance, including utilization of new digital opportunities, e.g. AI Furthermore, you are expected to partner with key stakeholders at senior managerial (SVP & CVP) level, to support strategic discussions with financial insights, drive the financial agenda in general, and ensure strong resource (re)allocation within areas of responsibility. Qualifications
To excel in this role, you hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or similar.
Other success criteria are: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience Experience and proven track record in business partnering and financial management Solid understanding within the field of accounting and finance Project management experience Ability to present complex financial matters in a simple way Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English both oral & written Leadership & stakeholder management skills As a person, you are proactive, self-driven, pleasantly persistent and a team player with strong analytical & problem-solving skills. R&ED Finance is part of Novo Nordisk Business Finance and is responsible for the financial management of the R&ED organisation and projects in our R&ED pipeline. In R&ED Finance you will be part of a young and ambitious team consisting of 15 dedicated employees in Denmark, supported by colleagues from Global Business Services in India. Our overall ambition is to create impact through Finance Partnering to our stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate.
