Are you ready to kick-start your career within strategy consulting and M&A? We are looking for a student strategy analyst to join our Tryg Group Strategy team.
About the team | Dynamic and ambitious team
We are the largest non-life insurance company in Scandinavia with activities in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. We are active in the private, commercial, and corporate segments across Scandinavia where we provide coverage to over 4 million customers.
In Tryg Group Strategy we are an ambitious team who works closely together on many different transformational projects across Tryg Group. Within the team we focus on personal and professional development inspired by the consultancy feedback culture. In other words, we offer to help you start building your consultant toolbox as a student.
As a part-time Strategy Analyst, you will be working directly with an ambitious team with backgrounds from tier-one consultancies (McKinsey, BCG), the Danish Finance Ministry, and top-tier universities such as LSE and Harvard.
About the job | Project orientated tasks
The Strategy Analyst position offers a unique opportunity to develop and bolster your problem-solving and analytical capabilities by working closely with consultants and project leaders. Tasks and responsibilities on strategy projects may include, conducting commercial analysessuch as industry analysis and competitive benchmarks. Analyze information, test hypotheses, and develop recommendations for senior Tryg executives. Independently drive project workstreamswith support from senior consultants
You will be working between 15-20 hours per week, normally over 2-3 days at our head office in Ballerup. However, we are flexible in organising your working hours and location to accommodate your studies and exams.
Your profile | Proactive with a team spirit
In order to succeed in this position, you are ambitious, motivated, and a team-player, but most importantly willing to learn. As we are staffed in smaller consulting teams on various projects, it is important that you are proactive and engaged.

We also expect you to be open to receiving and giving feedback to colleagues as the team is built on a consultancy feedback culture. It is important that you are native in Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish and also fluent in English, both written and oral. Prior experience with PowerPoint and Excel is an advantage, but not necessary.

Ideally you are a match if:
- You are studying a relevant bachelor- or master’s degree
- Excel both socially and academically with strong grades – any experience from prior student jobs and/or student organizations is also highly valued, though not essential.
- You are very structured with solid analytical skills and are attentive to details.
- Are eager to proactively drive project workstreams and embrace the high level of responsibility we offer.
We also expect you to be open to receiving and giving feedback to colleagues as the team is built on a consultancy feedback culture. It is important that you are native in Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish and also fluent in English, both written and oral. Prior experience with PowerPoint and Excel is an advantage, but not necessary.
