About the department
In our department we specifically work on creating digital solutions for insurance the Private Customers-segment. We are responsible for both developing the digital insurance platform as well as developing new insurance products in collaboration with Tryg private in our Agile release train.
Our department consists of Scrum Masters, IT Product Owners, Developers and Agile Specialists who are allocated to agile teams in our Agile release train.
We are characterized by an unpretentious culture, strong skills, and a positive atmosphere.
About the role
In the role as a Lead Developer you will have an enabling role and will work closely with our agile teams to increase their skills and embed the required capabilities.
Core tasks:
Customer satisfaction through creating development, showing trust, and taking responsibility is in our DNA and reason to show up to work every morning.
About you
We are open to diverse backgrounds, but we expect that you bring in-depth knowledge of software development with an agile mindset. Experience with DevOps and PHP will be beneficial.
You have excellent social skills and enjoy fun at work. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do - you understand the value of teamwork and can easily communicate and collaborate with other teams. You know that software engineering is not just about writing code but about delivering solutions that meet business objectives.

- Identifying opportunities for improvement, including latest trends and standards in software development
- Understand the challenges our agile teams face and collaborate towards solving them
- Write clean code and ensure flexible architecture. The languages we use are Java, JavaScript/typescript, and PHP. Frameworks we use include Spring boot, React & Drupal. Our setup includes Azure, Kubernetes and GitLab.
- Provide mentoring to teams to embed modern technologies, frameworks, or methodologies
