Key Responsibilities
As Lead Drilling Engineer in the Drilling & Wells team, you will be following the upcoming drilling campaigns with two infill wells in 2023 followed by one explo and two infill wells in 2024. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when preparing the Well Programme in compliance with TotalEnergies Rules, industry standards and regulatory requirements to deliver the Integrity / Subsurface objectives as per SOR.
Overall, you have the responsibility of ensuring that operational risks are assessed and that necessary measures taken to mitigate operational risks and that contingencies have been evaluated and implemented.
These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
HSE
Ensure that health, safety and environmental risks are assessed, and necessary measures taken to mitigate safety and health risks according to ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practical) principle.
Planning
Book resources / equipment, ensure IOP updated, execute DWOP / readiness review.
Engineering
Ensures that programs are technically validated, best technology selected, lessons learned incorporated.
Performance
Ensure programs are issued 42 days ahead of execution.
Check and ensure that offshore reporting including NPT (Non Productive Time) is done correctly and adequately on a daily basis.
Operations
Ensure lessons learnt are captured and included in the EOWR.
Follow the MoC process for any changes.
Organization
Provide feedback to contract owners on each contractor\u0027s performance for SQM.
Coach and mentor: Junior Drilling engineer and Well site engineers
