Are you a technical genius and do you dream of packing your suitcase travelling around the world providing our customers with excellent support. Do you furthermore have strong electrical or software skills, a commercial mindset along with experience from the food and beverage industry, you could very well be exactly who we are looking for.
As a Field I&C Engineer at Aasted, your overall responsibility will be to support our Aftersales organization at our customers around the world. You will apply technical expert knowledge during our work, installing and starting up our lines and equipment at our customers worldwide. You will be an important representative of AASTED and helping them create a solid foundation for their business
Your main Tasks and Responsibilities
About you:
We imagine that you have experienced from a similar position, and you are used to traveling and being away from home for longer periods. Normally the jobs will vary between 1-2 days and up to 4-5 weeks of travelling, however longer projects for up to 8 weeks could also be required.
You are a very respected team player with strong interpersonal skills. You are customer oriented with at distinct desire to provide a good experience both humanly end technically
You have strong analytical, eye for details, and problem-solving skills that are balanced with speed and effectiveness.

Your main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain the equipment and installations worldwide
- Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on site and remote
- Communicate effectively with customers and team regarding scheduling, repair or maintenance needs, part requests, expectations, and outcomes
- Supervise local employees in larger installation projects
- Conduct production supervision and operator training at customer sites
- Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with the customer
- Provide information and write reports as required
- Follow all site safety rules, agreed working practices and environmental requirements
- Recognize service and spares sales opportunities and communicate that to the relevant persons
- Expect to have minimum 150 days where you will be out supporting our customers per year
About you:

Experience:
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above, in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering
- 5 years’ work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance
- 5 years’ experience in Servo, HMI, PLC, electrical and electronic systems in general
- Ability to repair machines onsite on your own
- Native level of English (writing/reporting skills are essential)
- Good command of computer skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
